I'm finally really properly True Blue. Almost as blue as the ocean. (This is my favourite bit of ocean of all time, I'll tell you more about it another time). I'm so happy!

The woman in the store looked funny at us when my brother and I both bought 20 temporary tattoo gums. But don't blame us, what's better than opening something, excited to see what's inside and you find out it's blue cat (well, it could be a cat)! This combined with the amazing 5 minute-lasting chewing gum. Great.

Small collections of images in my new room (did I already say it's an attick and thus amazingly awesome? Well it is.). More on the dead mice collection later (and it has already extented itself).

Tuesday-market fresh fruit and vegetables, yum!

Adelaide, Australia.
I had walked through an almost empty city on my own for hours when I saw a small black cat leading into an alleyway, and in between high, fancy glass building, I found this small and messy place, next to a building that only had his outer walls left. I sat down in the sun and pretended to be a tuxedo cat, sadly without a drink or organic soup.

I am completely drained from sitting in church all day and walking around an empty and depressing town on this sunny sunday. I wonder how other people do this every sunday, because I just found this very scary and sad. And everything and everyone made me feel like I was worth nothing and basically this is what has happened all week when I talk to these people. I don't like it one bit.
They keep saying: "What are you doing here? What is your purpose? You are living a useless life. You will go to hell." I don't get it. So this afternoon I just told the man next to me that I believe in God very much so and I sang the songs and put money in the bags and nodded in agreement when they talked about those terrible non-believers.

They also had rocks that looked like Gustav Klimt paintings, but they are not on film, just in my head.

Autumn started yesterday! I've had it above my bed for a while already.

The twelve apostles were amazingly beautiful even though I was slightly disappointed that they were no real apostles but just stones...

I wouldn't mind watching the sun set on the beach and drinking rekorderlig. right now. thank you.

Where the owner of the farm made us breakfast in the morning, where we only had electricity between 6 and 9 at night, where a parrot had a long and very dramatic conversation with himself and where the moon was full.

I remember as a kid being incredibly scared of the sea. My dad went out to stand on one of the rocks to show me it was all alright, but I stayed as far away as possible with my eyes and ears closed.

This summer the fear was back, but unlike all those years ago, now I couldn't stop looking at the sea. At her amazing power, the way she could become meters high, flood over rocks as high as buildings and her sound filling up all the air around you. It made my heart race both with fear and excitement.

It's impossible for me to catch this feeling in pictures, so you'll have to trust me on my word.

"We always try to edit our lives, show the best part of ourselves to the audience. But we're full of shit and full of contradicitons. Other people see them; we just don't want to admit them. It's very good to learn what other people see about you. It's a good lesson."
- Marina Abramović

We saw Sin Fang and Sóley the other day. They were pretty amazing and very cute and Icelandic and now it's sunny.
How are you doing? I hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

p.s. they had tons of wonderful streetart in the Australian cities. Eindhoven could learn from that.

The past few days have been rainy and stormy, good for staying inside with tea, reading books/papers/magazines and listening to Cat Power.

The next half year, will be themed with 'religion', I am beyond excited about this. It's going to be amazing. I'm so happy I'm in this department, and here, in general. More and more these days (now that we're getting older and getting used here) I feel so privileged to be surrounded by amazing and inspiring people, just making beautiful and great things and having long and endless talks about our current positions as designers / artists, about print being dead or not, about inspiration, about 'trends' and how things are changing.
That may sound stupid, but I was just sitting in class today with all these amazing people and I felt so happy. Then we got tons of long presentations and now I'm mainly hungry and tired, but still. I'm happy. And excited! and who knows, maybe after some time on this project, I'll be religious as well.

Hej. It's the first day of school. "You will be lost. You will be alone. You will change." I am excited.
And also. No more summer clothes from now on I'm afraid.

Going out in a trashy town with Russian actors, wandering in cities with high grey buildings, getting lessons in artichoke-eating, and in between everything: drinking (homemade iced)-tea.
